Wynjammer Superchargers TM
GM 4.3 Belt Installation & maintenance
1st-loosen the bolts holding the supercharger so that you can move Supercharger to the left.
2nd- Loosen the nut with a 7/8 wrench and move pulley to left and re-tighten.
3rd- With a screw driver insert between the mount and supercharger and move to the right untill the belt is tight. With a 1/2 inch box wrench or Ratchet snug up the top bolt then the bottom bolt, check the belt tension. The belt should not move more than 1/4 in when squeezing with two fingers on the top and bottom of the belt at the same time.
When satified that you have the correct belt tension tighten all mount bolts.
4th- Install the front Aluminum brace as shown to left.Insert the 5/16 x 3.00 Bolts thru the brace and spacers and snugup then install the 3/8 Std Washer and 3/8 Keps nut. Tighten the two 5/16 bolts then the 3/8 Keps nut.
At the left is the belt routing. If your engine drive belt is stretching you can remedy the problem by changing the engine Idler with a plastic replacement Idler from your auto parts. Use a larger pulley. These flat pulleys are found at most auto parts (Checker-Auto Zone etc.)
the  supercharger idler can also be changed  to tighten the engine belt.
The cog drive belt has a memory and needs to be readjusted  after 1 or 2 hours after installation. Check the belt once in a while for correct tension.
To Get even better traction -Try and find an Auto Parts Store that is a goodyear dealer. You want a Gatorback Belt as they do not go airborn and loose traction.
More Information on the GM 4.3 V6
When supercharging the 4.3 on an older engine, Change the motor mounts and the trans mount with a polyurethane mount.
The stock mounts will tear apart.  The trans mount is the first to go.
If the mounts go bad you will launch the engine thru the radiator.
I have seen this happen twice.
